Tanya previously prosecuted crimes against women and children and has been an advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault for more than 20 years. She has assisted and lead teams in the identification of victims of sex trafficking on the streets and online at a local level and at national sporting events. She has been part of transports and extractions of victims of sex trafficking. She has trained law enforcement and civilians in the areas of human trafficking, sexual assault, domestic violence, and women’s personal defense. Tanya regularly speaks at women’s groups, holds online webinars and in-person events to educate on the issues of estate planning, trademarks, women in the Bible and church history, and other writing and publishing. ![]()

Tanya was born in Fairhope, Alabama, received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law (2001) and Master of Divinity from Regent University (2015). Tanya is currently in Leadership Greater Huntsville’s Connect Class 26. She resides in Huntsville with her husband, Ron, and their two dogs Sinatra and Georgia. They enjoy fishing at Lake Guntersville, hiking the Land Trust trails, and spending time at Ditto Landing.![]()
